Historical Restoration
For this video, I was tasked with restoring a badly damaged historical video of an important interview. I had to clean up the audio to remove the annoying buzz present throughout the video, as well as edit the intro. Finally, I had to normalize the audio levels and ensure that they were consistent and audible throughout the video.
Community Webinar
For this project, I was tasked with organizing and running a HEMA webinar about teaching. I contacted two colleges of mine and together we organized a three-part presentation that was a massive success. After I got the raw footage I compiled it into a cohesive video for distribution.
Website Tutorials
For this project I was tasked with scripting, producing, filming, editing, post-processing, and distributing several tutorials about how to use TOTA.world.
Living Stories
For this project, I was in charge of finding a way for TOTA.world to host audio files of African American elders telling their stories. Because TOTA can only host embedded videos from YouTube I came up with the idea to have elders use their phones to record their stories via memos then sending those to us for publishing. Not only was this a workaround of the limited TOTA technology, but it made storytelling accessible to elders who found technology and complex file formats intimidating.
